JOKKMOKK FLAVOUR TOUR AND DOG SLEDDING
Flavour tour, dog sleddging and Sami museum
Join us in an unique experience from the arctics. You will get in touch with the dogs and learn them as an individual's before starting the tour. You will sit of a sledge with a professional musher steering the dog team.
Meet Eva Gunnare, a passionate forager and culture guide who invites you to her home and surroundings in the very special part of Jokkmokk originally built for the Sami nomads. She will share her passion about wild herbs and berries and you will taste and learn a lot about the traditional plants grown in the wild. The tour starts with a tour in the forest and meadows and ends at Eva´s home where tasteful drinks and food bits are served.
The program ends with a visit to Ajjte Museum in Jokkmokk one of the most completes museums of Sami Culture.

Sightseeing around the city of Luleå , including a visit the Gammelstad Church Town and it's medieval church. This small village has 435 church cottages most of them from 17th century. It has been part of the Unesco´s World Heritage List since 1996. Gammelstad Church Town is considered one of the most important ones in Sweden because it´s history, architecture and traditions.

DAY TOUR TO STORFORSEN
“The Big Rapid”, Jokkmokk, Arctic Circle & Sami Museum
We will leave from the hotel in the direction of the Municipality of Jokkmokk. On our tour we will visit Storforsen´s waterfall and its natural reserve. This waterfall has a fall of 60 meters, one of the highest in Europe.
We continue to the Arctic Circle and the Sami city of Jokkmokk. Here we will visit the most complete museum of the Sami culture ,Ajjte Museum.

Duodji- Sàmi Handicraft
Meet the Craftswomen
Meet the craftswomen behind the duodji, Sámi handicraft. Take the opportunity to immerse yourself in the art of wood, antler, reindeer skin and textile. Learn about the fabrics and techniques which goes thousand of years back in time. Spend a couple of relaxing hours for all your senses. Listen to the sparkling fire while you enjoy traditional Sámi food. A genuine gathering around the fireplace in the lávvu (tent house) where you will learn about art and culture. Take part of the jojk, the traditional Sámi way to musically tell a story and to remember the old ways. In the coral the reindeer will meet you curiously and you will be able to feed them and get really close.
